"The rooms are clean but lack basics. No water in the rooms. You cannot get food after 10pm. The jacuzzi is designed to kill you. There is so much chlorine it feels like a gas chamber. Its awful. Its supposed to be relaxing but you leave crying. The sauna and steam rooms are great. The swimming is good and perfect temperature. I asked one of the staff to reduce the amount of chlorine but she just said its not my job. She looked like the cleaner. The lady at the spa Danielle was just great. She...

"Check in was great, nice & easy and the room was ready straight away. The room was a twin, a great size but very tired. The carpet could do with changing and the shower sealant definitely needs re-doing as it was black in areas. Breakfast was plentiful, could have been warmer but nothing too drastic. "Expedia did not relay my original request for a twin-bedded room (we were two elderly ladies) and we were allocated VERY SMALL double bed which was totally unacceptable. Fortunately the hotel were eventually able to arrange a twin-bedded room by splitting a king size bed into two sections and the situation was resolved. BUT it could have spoiled our holiday had a solution not been found (the hotel was fully booked)."

The main gripe I had was how scandalous it is to charge almost £10 for parking per day on top of the room fee- it’s off a busy A road, it’s not in a town centre. Will make sure to read the fine print beforehand, wouldn’t book again on this basis."

"I loved this B&B. Very welcoming right from the start. Outside beautiful with lovely flower baskets and tables and chairs to sit at. Everyone we met was happy and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. Good size room and lovely shower. Some of the fittings were a bit worn but this you expect in an old building. Would definitely use again."
