Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! "

"We had a great family stay here. Seeing the water park and amenities gave me the push to book here versus another cheaper option. So glad we did. The room was perfect. Very large, my daughter got to have her own room and bathroom, and the master had an en suite as well. Nice big kitchen with everything you need. The outdoor pool area was clean, tons of seating, and super fun. We even used the indoor pool later in the day once the sun went down (it’s open until 10!) for a little fun before bedtime with our 5 year old. The staff was super nice, especially the sweet girl who was working the towel area outside, she went looking for a floatie for my daughter. Able to have an extra hour at check out for no additional cost. We will definitely book here again when we come back next year!"

"I would not recommend staying more than one night. The breakfast they serve is a joke. There was orange juice, apple juice, granola bars, apples, and goldfish for breakfast options. The hotel itself had a bad smell and the room smelled like mildew. The water machine in the gym had hot water despite having a cold water dispenser, it did not work. The sauna had no light in it. It was not a comfortable stay when I went to the front desk to inquire about getting my room serviced with new sheets. I was informed that they do it every three days despite the sheets we had having a burn hole. The front desk workers were very unfriendly overall."

"This hotel chain is my go to, wherever I go. I love it, the kids love it and let me tell you about the excellent type of customer service.You can expect; They serve breakfast and I love their sausage gravy and biscuit.But the chain I came to this time only serves it on Tuesday, the staff member overheard me saying something about it.And made some specifically for us.😍. Wonderful. This stay was with Hilton Express Lightfoot in Va. The entire staff deserves a specific shout out."

"I decided to do a one day vacay the property was extremely beautiful. Deborah checked she was wonderful. Room was clean pools were great, food good. After checking out the following day went to the restaurant to get a quick bite before heading home lol I only wanted a side of bacon and water. I asked a young lady could she let someone know that there are customers waiting. She says to she’s coming she the only person working. I said okay I do not think she knows people are out here. She goes in the kitchen comes back walked pass me I was like okay never said she said she’ll be right with you nothing . At this point I just walked away. Then she finally said oh she’ll be right with you . Spoke to someone at the front desk about how she was rude. All I was trying to get was a little communication. Maybe she was having bad morning. I will visit again other than that the stay was great ."
