"Very nice. "

"This hotel turned out to be quite deceiving. From the outside it looked grand when you walk up to it, but in reality it was tired with a 70s/80s building on the side which is where we stayed. Branded as a spa hotel, the spa side was tiny, old and very dated. The pool was very small, the jacuzzi wasnt working and empty. The sauna was tiny, with a door that was hanging off the hinges and had scraped the floor. In the changing room, very few of the lockers worked. The room we had was very small but clean. Unfortunately there was a wedding the night we stayed, so there were lot of people about. What I can say about this hotel, the staff were lovely. They were all very friendly and polite, considering how busy they were with the wedding that was going on. The food was also excellent. It was just a shame about the spa."

Spotless, comfy, great tv, even had a honesty fridge in room, friendly welcome, easy check in process - highly recommend Cons - very slight thing, mainly as i was driving a pick up truck - could do with a bigger sign outside gates, I missed it twice and around the village you go lol "

"Plenty of parking available. Had a very nice welcome from the owner who made me feel extremely welcome and that nothing was a an inconvenience. Very friendly and approachable. My room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable. Shower was amazing, instant hot water and a good water flow. A very peaceful, relaxing evening, could not fault anything."

"Comfy, clean, great position. Enjoyed the location. Good breakfast and food during the day, discounts if you stayed in the Hotel. It was nice to have a sports bar to watch the football."

"House was OK, some bits poorly maintained in the house and were reported but little response, piles of rubbish outside, garden a mess. Overall it could be better but it was usable, I wouldn’t return. Local area is OK, lots of shops etc. "

"Enclosed garden and seating area were nice. The wooden surfaces in the kitchen and dining area were sticky, and so were some of the doors and shelves. Tried cleaning with CIF but still remained sticky. The “waterproof quilts and pillows were horrendous. We paid a premium rate for this and expected a bit of luxury but these things spoiled it for us. The sticky wooden surfaces need sorting and the quilts and pillows should be hotel quality for the price we paid. The mattresses in the twin room were larger than the bases so over hung the frame and the boys found that they kept rolling off them. Would not recommend staying here until these issues are sorted. "

"No issues with the stay, complimentary butter, Jam and milk in the fridge. Along with sugar, tea, coffee and biscuits. Even had washing powder. Only issue was when sat on the sofa there was no table to put your drinks on, I ended up using a waste paper bin turned upside down. In the bathroom the glass shower door you can’t open so have to get in at the far end of the bath and walk down the bath, with the water on this gets slippery so could do with a bath mat."
