"The property was very nice, and the location very good. I drove into the downtown area of Stroudsburg, and enjoyed exploring the shops, restaurants, and coffee cafes. I think the desk staff could have been a little more enthusiastic, and offered more of a friendly greeting when guests arrived and/or departed. The breakfast offered a variety of choices, and the kitchen staff was very nice & helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay"

"Friendly staff and a clean room in a motel-like setting behind one of the few remaining Delaware Water Gap resorts. The original building is closed, so guests stay in the motel rooms behind it. The rooms could benefit from larger and softer towels and some better lighting throughout. The pool looked good though we didn't have time to use it. That being said this is a fine place to stay that is central to all that the Gap and Stroudsburg have to offer. We will likely stay here again."

"Outside property and surrounding area was beautiful. Cottages look great from the outside however the one I stayed in needs an upgrade!(#50) The bedroom was fine(except for paint peeling on the ceiling) and the blinds and balance were outdated and fridge was noisy. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade! Toilet too low, mirror over sink to high, and tub didn’t drain. After two showers there was over a foot of standing water. Doors were not the most secure. I would have liked to have known beforehand that the restaurant and bar were closed until Friday! can’t even imagine the last time this unit was renovated."

"For the cost of the stay, I expected better. One of the elevators was out of service and the ice machine was out of service on my floor. Too expensive for the accommodations. It was peaceful. The staff was very friendly, and it is close to Main Street with all it's charm and offerings. It was comfortable but not $300.00 per night comfortable,"

"Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. Check in is done through a kiosk with no human present, just on video link. The machine takes credit cards, you sign the rental agreement on screen and it prints receipts and dispenses the room card key. The room was clean but the smell in the room was of old cigarettes and what ever noxious chemicals they use as air freshener. there was an immediate physical reaction to this atmosphere that made it impossible for staying there. The video interaction was minimally helpful and I checked out immediately. I must wait to see if they cancelled the reservation as I asked. I am working with Expedia for a refund since I did book through them but it is too soon to tell if that will have a positive result. I can not recommend a stay here if you have any type of respiratory issues such as asthma, COPD, CHF< or reactive airway issues. If any positive result comes from Expedia from this event, I will update this review."

"Room had an odor. Who ever cleaned the day before left trash in the bathroom behind the door. The bed was odor with stains on it. Bed was soft and sinked in in the middle. Needs to be updated. If I didnt have to stay just that night couple hours would of left and came home."
