"We had a fantastic stay at citizenM in San Francisco. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. The common living area was one of my favorite parts — modern, cozy, and perfect for relaxing or hanging out after exploring the city.
The rooms are definitely on the small side, but they’re smartly designed and have everything you need. We didn’t spend much time in them anyway, so...
"This hotel is well located, welcoming, clean and charming. If you want a big chain with lots of so-called amenities look elsewhere. If you want a comfortable, clean, quiet room, a warm welcome, a comfy bed at a reasonable price, this is your hotel. We live in the South Bay and come up to SF for theater, restaurants, and time with friends. This will be our go to from now on!"

"The room was small but very clean and beautifully decorated. Our room faced the street and there was quite a bit of noise at night. However, this is to be expected in a major city. The bar was great and the restaurant was good too. Not the best that the city has to offer but for the sake of convenience, it’s a good option. It is on the expensive side but the service matched the expense. The restaurant itself was gorgeous and I would definitely stay there again. "
"This hotel has new charm but still her old character, check in was easy and the location is perfect, places to dine and shop are easily walkable! Had a minor hiccup with my room upon check in , called front desk and was immediately moved to another room! The only thing that was a little annoying was the smoke detector was right outside of the bathroom and the steam from the shower would set it off. The bathroom had no fan to help with the steam and a window couldn’t be opened. Everything else...
"Went on a weekend trip with my mom for her birthday. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable. The location is in a great spot, right by all the shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting San Francisco! Will definitely be staying here again! "

"Hotel needs to be updated. It has a great location near Union Square, the cable car and Chlnatown all of them at walking distance. Tai at the reception was very professional and helpful. She made you feel very welcome. Price was very affordable for SFO standards."
"The hotel was very clean and nice. We traveled with our 3 kids between the ages of 15-7 and the hotel was family friendly. The outside location was clean and area felt safe. There is good restaurants across the street and we were very close to the ball park. "
