"The hotel was recently sold and under new owners. It was like taking a walk back to the 50's -70's..it was frequented by rock and roll bands. It shows alot of history. The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean and smelled good. Even though it is located on a busy street it was quite."

"Wir haben 2 Nächte im CitizenM verbracht. Das Zimmer war relativ klein, was vor dem buchen bekannt und somit für uns in Ordnung war. Wir hatten 2 große Koffer und mussten das Zimmer etwas umstellen um diese öffnen zu können. Der Ausblick war eine gegenüberliegende Betonwand. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut hat uns das iPad für die Raumsteuerung gefallen. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Frühstück klassisch amerikanisch und gut. Insgesamt hat uns der Stil und die Lage des Hotels für eine Städtereise...

"Great location. Rooms are well appointed and of good size. My room had limited lighting (both natural and room lighting) which was a bit problematic when getting ready. Having said that, I was able to get great rest because it was so quiet."

The Concierges were both so knowledgeable about the area and were able to suggest and make great recommendations. The location is very good right outside of Union square next to the Theatre section. Each hotel employee that we interacted with was so kind, helpful and went the extra mile for the guests. I would stay there again."

"I did not enjoy my stay at YOTEL at all… perhaps I misunderstood how ridiculously small the room is (small bed in a loft stacked on top of a small space with shower and toilet). It felt like I was in a space capsule and could barely move around. This is not a place for more than one person. The lack of human service in the “lobby” (really a cloister of computer screens for checkin) was an issue at check-in… the system did not properly send me my room number and I waited for 10 min to find a...

"Good safe location near Civic center and Orpheum Theater. Free parking!! Quiet, clean. Not fancy but very comfortable bed and air conditioning unit."

"I mean it’s a hostel, so nothing fancy - but an incredibly cosy vibe. Really enjoyed my stay. Not in the best part of town, but I felt safe there with the locked door, staff at the front desk, and always people about."

"Hidden fees but the previous guest threw up on the carpet of my room and it was not properly cleaned. I had to request them to clean a few times until the awful smell was cleared. Staff was super unhelpful. For a place that charges $40 on top of already paid stay, I would expect them to have clean spaces. Plus why only person at the front desk, I waited 25 min to get helped."

"The room and hotel were very clean. All staff were wonderful. We had a lot of trouble with the bathroom shower and the room was very loud."

"Wonderful stay! The only downfall was not being clearly labeled and visible from the street. I would not have guessed that we would have to enter a door that was labeled as a restaurant. To have to take another “loop” around the block, takes so long because it can’t actually be around one block, to almost miss it again, but thank God I could just back up that time. Would definitely stay again and now that I know, I know how and where to check in."
