"We stayed at the Edgewater Hotel & Conference Center from July 2nd–5th for the famous 4th of July Midnight Parade and fireworks. We visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge several times a year, and this was our first stay here. Unfortunately, it will also be our last. I'll start with the positives. The location is excellent and within easy walking distance of all the attractions in downtown Gatlinburg, which made getting around very convenient. "I’ve stayed at this hotel since early 2000s and it never ceases to amaze me. Staff is always super friendly, facility is always clean (floors stay SQUEAKY clean!), breakfast is always a hit, pools & hot tub are nice! You can’t beat this place for the price or what it offers. They’ll always have my vote as a regular AND travel advisor."

"Got to the hotel early and hotel staff was super accommodating. Helpful with nearby suggestions and what to do while in town. Breakfast and dinner were good for buffets food and there are made to order stations. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool but I could see it from my room and it was always packed. Paying to park as a hotel guest was the only downside."

"Staff was super sweet, friendly and helpful. Allowed our daughter to “adopt” a black bear that she got to take with her and keep. The room itself was more like a motel than hotel or lodge. The door did not feel secure, and some of the outlets weren’t working. The pool and hot tub was fine, but it has seen some better days."
