"This is a small and unique property, with a very welcoming staff. It is a "throw back" to the times when hotels were a special place and not a chain commodity. The rooms were large and well appointed. The hotel is close to the Vieux Carre, but far enough away from the madness of Bourbon Street. Our room had the best hotel shower ever - which says a lot about the quality of the property in general. I would not hesitiate to stay there again."

"My son got stuck in elevator. Lewis the maintenance guy was helpful but the young guy at management team was not helpful, he didnt want to call 911 after my son stucked in elevator alone for almost an hour. Unacceptable. Stay away."

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The only complaint I have is the lighting in the room is really low and I could not see to put on makeup...I am also over 50 so my vision isn't the best."
