"The property is in a lovely location but would benefit from a little TLC, we found it somewhat musty. But it was ok for the price, and the owner was great with communication and left us a nice welcome gift."

"Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms. Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!"

"The property was perfectly located right in the heart of Newquay and walking distance to everything. Got lucky with parking as every time I returned there was a spot in front of the hotel. I would definitely come back to this hotel again if I was visiting Newquay."

"Absolutely fantastic experience. We were very late to check in after an evening golf round ran late and the owner was there waiting for us personally. Rooms are excellent and view of the harbor is amazing. Owner is also an executive chef so we dined there one night and is was incredibly good. Must stay if you’re in Newquay!"

"While it is nice that the hotel is right by the beach and there is wifi at the hotel, the hotel lobby and common rooms were messy and not very clean. The TV didn't work well most of the time, there is no elevator, so wheelchair access is poor. The room was not cleaned during our stay, so the rubbish piled up. "Upon arrival we we greeted & shown to our room. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean, just what we wanted. After a good nights sleep we had breakfast in the bar and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had a choice of breakfast, we ordered a full English and avocado on toast with poached eggs & bacon.
