"We had a wonderful stay at MIMARU Shinjuku West and would gladly stay again. It was perfect for our family of four — the family room had 4 comfortable beds, a kitchenette and dining table, plenty of space by Tokyo standards, and an excellent bathroom. "I expected a picture perfect stay. The only things that were slightly off: 1. mag-safe phone charger wasn’t working (they replaced it) 2. Breakfast was amazing but waiter never asked me if I wanted any juice. 3. The arrangement of the floors is a little wacky. The 41st floor is reception. You take an elevator to higher floors to reach the guest rooms. To get to fitness center you go to 45th floor for entrance and then a side elevator to 47th floor for actual gym/pool. "We have been to Tokyo, shinjuku specifically many times and this hotel has been the best one yet. This is a boutique hotel, with spacious rooms for tokyo standards. You dont even have to bring any toiletries as they provide everything…and more…down to the mouthwash! The lobby is very cute and quaint, and everything in there…you can take. They have a coffee machine, that makes espresso….soda machine….hard liquors, red and white wine, light snacks!! We will definitely be chosing this hotel moving...

"The staff here is 100% bilingual and very good about helping foreigners not only book their stays but navigate Japan. No problems at all. The hotel service and room cleaning was impressive and thorough as I've ever seen at a hotel. The only downside I'd say here is the rooms are small. And I think that's more to do with Japanese hotels in this area. I was out and about so much I didn't really notice, but that's a real concern, especially if you're staying with other people.
