"Maybe it's common knowledge that "residence and conference centre" means unoccupied college dorms rented out as minimal hotel rooms, but we didn't know and the listing didn't make it clear. It was not an aparthotel in the sense of being a converted apartment building. My spouse and I checked in to find the room was a small dorm suite with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and kitchenette. "When we arrived to the hotel, we were surprised of how big the unit was. We are a group of three, one adult and two teenagers. Everyone has their own bed, the teenagers shared a room and I had my own. The unit was very spacious, the kitchen was a full kitchen (without the pots and pans). The location was very convenient to stores and restaurants and only 3 mins walk to the nearest TTC, it was a prime location.
