"The hotel is very nice, but certainly not value for money. The bar is very expensive, and the beer was awful. Our room was very big, but not perfect. The sink and shower were both blocked; we asked for them to be fixed, and the sink was unblocked but not the shower. We were put in an accessible room, but a disabled person would really have struggled with getting into the shower. The shower itself was the temperature of kettle water, and extremely fiddly to adjust. The pool area was very busy,...

"We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. The manager said things happened and it is better next time to book direcly with the hotel, not via third party. So I told them, that is not an...

"Fabulous location. Walk to Tower of London, SpitalFields; loved the room - very clean staff were very friendly checking in. I didn't get her name, but there was a Hungarian woman who checked us in who was very helpful with all the hotel details and other items. Shout out to Samina and Saikot behind the wine/coffee bar that is open 24/7 in the lobby - very nice and accomodating. I highly recommend the hotel and will stay there during my next trip to London."

"Das Zimmer war sauber und groß. Die Lage ist super, man hat sowohl eine gute Bus- und Tube-Anbindung direkt vor der Tür und ist schnell an den Hauptattraktionen.
Ein großer Minuspunkt ist leider das Frühstück. Man musste sich oft minutenlang anstellen, um überhaupt einen Platz zu erhalten. Die Auswahl war nicht so groß und es wurde sehr langsam aufgefüllt, weshalb bestimmte Sachen manchmal gar nicht da waren."

"It was one of the most horrible experience ever for me, because when I arrived at the hotel late at night in Nov/02, I could not go into the hotel, as the entrance was locked. I tried to ring someone up inside the hotel by door-bell (inter-phone installed outside the entrance), but the inter-phone was out of order and didn’t work at all. No one inside the hotel received me, and I had been deserted alone and chilled outside for about 15 minutes. Fortunately, service staff of apartment house just...

"Although the restaurant staff were extremely helpful and the service was good, the food wasn't. It was comparable to a cheap pub. I also noticed that quite few of the customers received the wrong order, and it had to be sent back to the kitchen, then they had to wait whilst the correct food was prepared."
