"I've been to 46 different countries for work over 30 years and it was the first time to find a needle on the floor in the room. It wasn't right out in the open, I was moving the sofa bed and the needle was on the floor under the sofa bed. I'm not familiar with needles so I don't know if it was for insulin or drugs or whatever but it was unacceptable. I brought the duty manager up to the room and showed her and she was very kind and apologized and upgraded my room. The next room I got when I...

"Clean room, they did have quite a bit of fruit flies. Other than that the stay was nice and we had early checkin."

"We were in Charlotte for a concert at The Spectrum, perfect location to walk to the venue. At check in we had a small issue with the room having a strong, strange smell and the front desk changed our room immediately. Highly recommended checking out the free breakfast buffet, very good selection. Every employee we interacted with was very friendly. "

"Beautiful old property that is a bit quirky and shabby in some spots, but everything was very clean. The staff was very helpful, and the included breakfast was great. We only stayed one night this time, but we would stay there again when we are in Charlotte. Parking was included and was easy and convenient."
