"Hotel is in an excellent location.It is surrounded by restaurants and cafes and it is within an easy 5 min walk of the hippodrome theatre. A decent size secure carpark is across a small, quiet road from the hotel. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was good- plenty of choice and easy to find a table. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It is a large hotel but only has 2 lifts which state they hold 8 but were full with 5 in. It was a very busy weekend as the Bristol half marathon was on the Sunday but only one of the lifts were working so there were always long waits for the lift. We were on the 3rd floor and due to the hotel’s location could hear music and people until after midnight. The noise wasn’t particularly loud but I could see some guests having an issue with it. "

"Hi, the room was clean, but very cold. Staff came to fix the heating twice, when asked. It worked after the second attempt. The check in was slow. Staff very helpful. We had a grab & go breakfast as we had an early morning flight. No take out coffee though, unless we missed it. Not good enough value for the high cost. It gets away with it as it’s the only hotel on site."

"The room was clean and spacious enough for us to rest. However the facilities provided were a little basic. No water bottle or glasses provided. No mini fridge. No AC. No escalator. Bathroom shower was leaking water onto the floor. No emergency button in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok but not enough vegan options were provided. "

"During a 5 night stay twice the cleaning team overlooked cleaning our room. Parking arrangement very good. Overall the cooked breakfast was not hot. The quantity of pre/cooked eggs was excessive for the speed that they were required, and looked unappealing. Perhaps the hotel could consider cooking the eggs to order"

"Great experience, it would be one of my top choices moving forward. Very polite staff members and easy to get in touch with via phone or reception. I had to extend my stay by few hours and they helped me through it."
