"Great service and warm stay"

"Apartment was very spacious with a large living room and separate bedroom. Excellent shower/bathroom and decent (but basic) kitchen facilities. We had a 10-night stay visiting family nearby and it was ideal, close to shops, trams, trains, and was quiet and safe "

"Efficient clean small hotel room with mini kitchen and laundry with comfortable bed. I looked forward to the balcony but my first floor balcony had 6' walls around it, in an alley without any sunlight , and had a neighbouring bright security light and camera on it so felt more like a prison yard.. I was disappointed that the pictures online showed a bar/food type area for socializing and there was none where I stayed. No resto/bar on site but some provisions (chips, pop, bottles) were on sale...

"Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. TV had many apps and allowed streaming from your own device so entertainment wasn't an issue. Plenty of parking onsite and the laundry facilities are good. There's no onsite food options, although there's fast food a few hundred metres away. Housekeeping is hit and miss, might be okay for a short stay, but I was there for a month and frequently had to go to reception to ask for coffee refills, toilet paper, water etc. and room wasn't cleaned....

"Stay here often when I come to Melbourne for family events and it’s always a pleasant experience. It’s an excellent location, lots of things around that you need like public transport, supermarket and a pub on your doorstep. The employees at the front desk are outstanding! They are always very efficient, knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. And…… the beds are so good!"

"Was great other than a bit tricky with no parking available on site. Otherwise clean and staff were great."

"I was sent an email less than 3 hours before check in, saying that they have had to cancel my reservation due to unexpected circumstances. No phone call. Just an email. I had already started driving to the hotel from regional Victoria. I tried to call the manager who sent the email - no answer. Called the reception, who said that they have ongoing renovations and the room sustained damage. I requested assistance with relocating me to another hotel. They had to call me back. I get a call back...

"There was a melted plastic burn mark on the carpet in one of the rooms, possibly from a fire? Tiles were coming up in the bathroom floor, and the grout was dirty. Check in was challenging because they hadn't received my details from Expedia, and I had to complete an online form on my phone in order for my keys to be dispensed. Also the location of the key pick up was about 300metres from the actual building I was staying in. This was confusing and frustrating after a long flight. "
