Toby's Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Don't hesitate... it's not an all inclusive hotel. It's not a 5 star hotel. However, It's very well situated regardless of whether you want to just potter around Montego bay or venture to Ocho Rios or Negril. Spencer and the security team will make sure you're safe. The restaurant food is competitively priced, good portions and all the staff are exemplary of Jamaican warmth. You can get breakfast after 11am because they're nice like that. The rooms have everything you need without being too basic or fancy. House keeping is top notch. Beds are comfortable. I travelled extensively to many countries and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel except if you're hard to please and expect 5 star accommodation for the price of this hotel. It's only downside is it that it's not modern. Would I stay again? definitely. Would I recommend to friend's and family? Yes, except those who I know prefer to pay a little extra for luxury. This is the hotel for people who are not focused on the all inclusive holiday resort."

What is the difference between a 4-star and 3-star hotel in Montego Bay?
The key difference between a 3- and 4-star hotel in Montego Bay will be the standard of service and access to creature comforts. Three-star hotels are usually more wallet-friendly and provide the amenities and services you need to be comfy, such as breakfast, WiFi and a gym. You can look forward to a bit more at a 4-star hotel — think upmarket furnishings, luxury toiletries and extra touches like on-site day spas.
