Hotel Abbazia
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is a real find! It’s really lovely both on the inside and outside. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Our triple room was spacious $ we appreciated the sliding door that separated the bedroom from the sitting area where the third bed was. Those with mobility issues should know that there are several steps that lead from the lobby to the rest of the hotel. The elevator is small so your party may have to take separate trips up the elevator, which really isn’t a big deal. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with offerings that included a wide variety of pastries, sandwiches, fruit, etc. They were willing to accommodate our early departure by kindly allowing us to pack “to go” breakfasts. The hotel is near the bus and train stations & the vaporetto stop is a short walk away. The hotel is a bit hard to find, as its entrance is down a side street which is more like an alleyway. (You can find that street entrance diagonally across from Ristorante Roma, which is also an excellent place to eat.) My only “complaints” are that there weren’t any luggage racks, so you had to put your dirty luggage on your bed when you needed to access items inside. And despite being a sizable bathroom, there weren’t any hooks for wet towels nor counter space for your toiletries. I’d like to see perhaps a pull-down wall table or even a real table in the bathroom so that you have a place to work when getting ready. Other than that it was wonderful & I’d definitely stay here again!"

"The building and decorations are fantastic, the cleaning team wa excellent, the reception team was too cold, I didn't feel welcomed by them. Perhaps was the language barrier. The room we stayed had fried oil and food smell all the time, but it was clean and the A/C was fantastic."
Campanile Venice Mestre
8/10 Good
"Great position and a great price. Short train trip to the main town that inly costs €2."
B&B HOTEL Venezia Laguna
10/10 Excellent
"Expedia's listing presents a waterfront view in all photos, even when selecting basic rooms. This is false advertising. Hotel charges $77 euros for waterfront view. No where in Expedia's listing does is say that for a waterfront view, hotel charges a $77 supplement. So hotel gets blamed, when in fact its Expedia's add that is misleading."
