"I am a woman in my 60s and I was treated very kindly and upgraded to a king when I had booked a queen. I’m here for UCSF after a surgery and was pleasantly surprised at the neighborhood feel, convenience of restaurants, and walkability of the area. Love the free parking, the wonderful smaller square pillows that were so moldable and comfortable to sleep on, and how my needs were perfectly accommodated.

"We’ve stayed at the Hotel Majestic several times and always enjoy our visits. The hotel is elegant, clean, and the retro charm creates such a unique and welcoming atmosphere. We especially love the coffee maker in the lobby—hot chocolate cartridges are such a fun touch!

It would be really helpful to have bedside lamps with built-in outlets or USB ports. You could still keep the vintage look by adding a retro-style lampshade. I ended up charging...
"They had all our amenities and wants covered, free street parking on the weekends (3 hours max during the day on weekdays), and with the wonderful buffet breakfast and happy hour open bar/ food it was really a good deal. Room service was available 24/7 and was a great price. Best stay ever for us in the city."
"This is a small but friendly hotel with a fondness for everything literary. We were drawn to it by its quirky theme and decor, something different from other hotels in the area. Desk staff and housekeeping were all very friendly, personable and helpful. It was nice to be able to walk into the attached coffee shop for caffeine and a breakfast sandwich. My wife appreciated that they have gluten free bread. "
"Amazing place to stay. The staff was very friendly. We were able to check in a little early and even upgraded to a larger suite at no additional charge. Also they held our luggage while we waited and the day of check out before we left to the airport to return home. The stay included a great continental breakfast. The location is next to the Union Square next to many shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again when we visit San Francisco again. We highly recommend it and the price...

"The last Room I had was fabulous. The room was on the 4th floor, so there was nobody walking overhead. It had a breakfast nook kind of window arrangement which made the room look larger. It was meticulously clean, both the bathroom and the bedroom. Loved it. "
