"Bring binoculars. This place offers so much and is an easy walk to most of the main sites. The restaurant was great to have on location. But we found that if there are binoculars around for guests...they disappear. That's about it. And a rain jacket."

"Didn’t realize the room we rented was not located in the large log-cabin lodge pictured on the website. Rooms are in a separate building; they’re are old and outdated; our carpet had not been vacuumed. The room smelled musty and unclean. "

"The room was clean and right up against the pier/marina. If you needed something, you would text the # that they provided you. They don't have onsite parking which is one reason why I took off a star. It's south of the property about 500'. It doesn't seem far but when you have to walk it, it's a jaunt. It is right behind the Kenai Fjords National Park Visitor Center. But when we stayed here, the visitors center wasn't open yet for the season. There's a decent breakfast place across the street...
