"Staff were super friendly and attentive. Beautiful property! Beds were very firm, not to our liking. Some features in room not working. Difficult to manage large luggage due to stairs, in addition to Lift."

I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again "

"Traumhafter Aufenthalt in einem Castle. Das Zimmer war der Wahnsinnn und hatte alles was das Herz begehrt. Im Schlafzimmer hat man zwar die Musik aus der Bar unten etwas gehört, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Die Umgebung und der Ausblick aus dem Restaurant sind wirklich wunderschön. Beim Essen im Restaurant würde ich definitiv aber nicht fish & ships empfehlen. Das war leider ein wirklicher Reinfall. An der Unterkunft an sich ändert es aber nichts. Es war und bleibt eine unvergessliche...

"Positives: The location and Parking are excellent. The Reception, and Bars are styling & Comfortable. But, some communal areas are tired (example the entrance from the car park), the garden is overgrown in parts and its seems their are sraff shortages (the staff seem good, but under pressure). There is building work going on, and there is evidence of this as you enter through the entrance from the car park. There is a very small lift and no sign for the stairs! "

"We stayed for a couple of nights, having breakfast & dinner twice. After a rather brusque check-in with a middle aged Asian gentleman (the owner?), we made our way to Room 10, a king sized room with an additional bed in a side room. As we had our Jack Russell with us, this may be a pet-friendly room. The bedroom was beautifully clean, and the beds comfortable. I think the bathroom had not long been fitted, and had a fabulous shower along with all the complimentary soaps/showergels/shampoos...

"Clean room, easy parking with friendly and professional staff. Warm welcome with a lovely Tavern for a drink, limited menu for dinner but very tasty simple food. The inclusive breakfast buffet was excellent, good selection of cooked and continental breakfast items. We were a couple and enjoyed the knights sword fighting, brilliant performances. For families with young children there was a small park, story telling with Zog and Knights interacting throughout dinner."

"Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...
