"Classic English accommodations. An updated old Inn, I'll guess 1700s, complete with neighborhood pub on ground floor. Ceilings are still low, hit my head, but learned quickly. I got room 3, a little noisy from staff congregation outside, get a diff one yourself. Old timey pull chain on toilet , hilarious. Cool little village too, with fish n chips shop, but the fish n chips in The Crown Inn restaurant were great. We stayed here purposely for the UK experience vs boring corporate hotel marble...

"I stayed 1 night at the lodge Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and nice room. I was booked by Expedia. The only disadvantage with the lodge you are not allowcyo use the solent swimming pool."

"Had an amazing stay in tasteful and clean bedroom with comfy bed lovely Pillows and great bathroom. Lots of tea and coffee. Had dinner and breakfast in the pub and they were really tasty. Properly cooked bacon! Great wine list with lots of option. Really lovely beer garden and covered courtyard. Lovely staff. Also v close to Hambledon so a good base to visit there. Really recommend. "Overpriced hotel with terrible soft, spongy mattresses"

"The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful! It's really hard to find a dog friendly hotel that are so relaxed about actually bringing dogs! Especially as our puppy is a big boy and sometimes, due to his bread, people are cautious of him. But the hotel were great and didn't make us feel nervous or "in the way" at all. It was a lovely stay."
