And the maids were invisible and always on top of my needs. How do they do that? I love staying at the Omni in San Francisco."

"I love the brand experience. Standard and funky accords the world. I would not stay in these rooms with another person though unless you are only using the room to sleep. It’s really small. Perfect for a solo not for a couple. Sad they had to be acquired by Marriott. Hope they are able to keep their unique style and not get flattened by corporate. Will def stay again in San Francisco and elsewhere. Great location."

"The rooms were generously proportioned. I stayed here for 18 days so that was the biggest plus point. I felt I had my own apartment. A large walk in closet was the best part. No unsightly luggage all over the room. Nearly hidden from sight. Lovely views of Coit Tower and the water too. Bathrooms need serious upgradation. Old tub and shower . Also new electricals in terms of modern switches etc needed. Hotel public areas are decidely run down. But the hotel has a warm and bustling atmosphere....

"We had a one night stay at Hotel Zelos to see "Phantom of the Opera" in San Francisco. The only issue I had at all was not knowing where to pull up for the valet, as there isn't a stand, but all you do is pull by the curb where is says "passenger loading" a few feet in front of the hotel entrance, and when you go in to the hotel the front desk person takes your key and gives you a slip and calls the valet. I had accidentally booked my reservation twice, and the staff I encountered was so...

"clean and in a good spot. Felt very safe. A lot of the stuff is new and seems like it’s ikea furniture so I’m not sure how long it will last but looks great. Whoever redid the motel took some shortcuts when redoing it (the grouting, bathroom sink wobbles, bathroom door didn’t latch when you shut it) but all and all it was very nice and definitely recommend staying again."
