"We stayed there 10 days apart, during which they changed companies. The new company makes you wear a wristband for the WHOLE stay— charging you if you take it off! There were bullet holes in the ceiling above the bed, and the ceiling tiles in the bathroom had mold. The surfaces you touch were clean and the bed was comfortable enough (not great). "Cottage was clean, A.C worked great. Kitchen and bathroom was clean just had an ant problem. I traveled alone, the unit was very spacious. The pool was decent. Able to walk to the beach just be mindful coming back is uphill. Not many choices of restaurants but they will call a taxi for you. Staff was super friendly, willing to help with and definitely made me feel comfortable and safe. I would stay here again"

"Room was very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, it was included in my booking and was plenty sufficient. There was plenty of parking at the hotel and my disabled guest was accommodated well. The venue has live entertainment on Thursdays which was well attended. It would have been perfect if there was a pool. Towels could have been cleaner as they had stains on them and looked yellowed."

"The Buccaneer Beach Club was perfect stay. The staff friendly especially Candace at Front Desk. The grounds well kept. My room was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again. If there is a downside, which there is not. The Buccaneer does not host an eatery, but why would it. You have a kitchen to cook your own food. Microwave, hot stove, etc. Next door is the Salt Plage which has good food. Great staff too!"

"Incredible family run place with a lot of charm. Everything is thought through and the rooms very well equipped. Right by the beach and very accessible. I found it a bonus as well as it was very close to the trail that leads up to Boggy Peak (aka Mount Obama) and one can do hike up to the summit and back within 3 or 4 hours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything has been perfect for my stay here."
