"The staff were very helpful & informative. The breakfast buffet could have more items however it was still decent. For breakfast, we were offered vegetarian sausages seperately as the buffet did not have any vegetarian sausages. That was very thoughtful of the staff. The room had everything we required, a hairdryer, a fridge (requested earlier), a fan & were able to adjust the heating in the room. The spa facilities were nice & clean."

"Property was in a nice location next to small river. Room was dated…patio door fell off hinges when opened, headboards were in rough shape, toilet wouldn’t flush and had to fix myself. For some reason ours was the only room without card entry which was a bit of a pain! Also beds really firm. The front desk staff were helpful as much as possible. Restaurant was quite good. Overall was ok for what we payed. "

"It was very exciting staying in a castle. We had the family room which was very quaintly laid out with a single bed in its own part of the small turret, through a stone arch. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was served in a box in our room with loads of choice, and fresh produce in a mini fridge which was lovely. The area is stunning. "Good points: Staff were friendly, accommodation was clean and tidy and food provision and bar was satisfactory. Poor points: The room was pretty sparse and lacking any warmth or character as were the rest of the facilities. We didn’t try the Spa or Golf, so can’t comment on this. gym, sauna, hot tub type facilities (which I would be happy to pay for) are pretty standard in most ‘Spa’ hotels so I felt a bit cheated. "Our room was mostly clean. We had to move the sofa bed and there was a lot of mess under there. Air conditioning worked well. Staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of staff available to help with queries. Breakfast is very good, plenty of choice. The hotel is ideally situated between Warwick and Stratford. The beds weren’t very comfortable though. "Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...
