The bacon was excellent, my sausage was pink in the middle so I only ate half, the mushrooms were tinned or something similar, the tomato wasn’t cooked and the potato things were frozen. "We stayed for a couple of nights, having breakfast & dinner twice. After a rather brusque check-in with a middle aged Asian gentleman (the owner?), we made our way to Room 10, a king sized room with an additional bed in a side room. As we had our Jack Russell with us, this may be a pet-friendly room. The bedroom was beautifully clean, and the beds comfortable. I think the bathroom had not long been fitted, and had a fabulous shower along with all the complimentary soaps/showergels/shampoos...

"Our second stay at GMH, we stayed in the hideaway, which was very spacious and had a great bathroom. Breakfast is great and cooked to order. The only disappointment was that they couldn't accommodate us for an evening meal. Tables were laid out and reserved. But there were plenty of tables free, in the bar and the nook (think it's called that), which we thought could have been laid for us as we were guests. So we had to wander around to find somewhere to eat before our show. Never mind"
