"The owners are what really make this hotel special. Friendly, helpful, fun, just great people. They love what they do and it shows in every aspect. Beds are very comfortable and my husband and I slept in every morning. Having places to sit outside and enjoy the weather is a huge bonus. The location was also great."

"Reached out to the staff to get early check in (extra $50) for my two night stay and they told me I can come at 1 PM day of. I show up at 1:15 with the staff not even at the front desk and the door locked. Finally got a hold of someone just for them to tell me they can’t be there and I have to wait until 3 PM to check in despite what I was told the day before. I had a wedding to attend to, so I had to get ready in my car in the parking lot. They came an hour later to which I was already gone....

"Not a great experience- Hampton and Expedia did not communicate properly on the room type we booked- or overbooked- and could not give us the right room with enough beds the first night. Terrible run around trying to fix the situation. After trying three rooms the next day, they finally settled us in one that had smaller beds, but at least the right number. Breakfast is all microwaved (powdered eggs, bacon, sausages, etc). Staff only brought more towels/ emptied trash if we set the cans outside...

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Lantern Hotel ! We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. It was fun to watch all the activity from there. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hands down the best I’ve had at a hotel and the room was beautifully furnished with views of the ocean. The location was easily walkable to a number of restaurants. We would stay again and recommend to friends."

"Overall, we enjoyed the property and grounds. Parking was free and close to the rooms. The hotel has a lot of personality after being remodeled and is nicely decorated. The bathrooms also have Le Labo products. However, I did want to address some issues. Our room's AC was not working. Upon arrival, our room was hot and humid given the particularly hot weekend we stayed during. We tried adjusting the thermostat but didn't hear the air turn on.
