"Would definitely stay there again"

"While the staff is friendly and the location is fantastic, the hotel is severely overpriced. Our room was dirty, and there was absolutely no view. You're paying for the location, but the lack of cleanliness makes it not worth the money."

"Achtung, wir konnten unser Elektroauto laden, allerdings wurden uns am Ende 0,75£ / kw/h verrechnet! Das ist natürlich viel zu viel für eine Wallbox. Zugegebenermaßen haben wir im Vorfeld nicht nach dem Preis gefragt, wir haben mit so einem Wucher aber auch einfach nicht gerechnet. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten eine gemütliche, saubere Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war ruhig in Richtung Garten. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar."

"Neat place above the pub. If staying in that section, the stairs are quite narrow to get checked luggage up - but doable. We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags. "Loverly riverside terrace with plenty of seating areas. Breakfast is wide ranging but can be a bit of hard work finding all the choices and very busy on weekends. Club Lounge fills up quickly when complimentary drinks and snacks appear. Very effective air con in rooms. But in comparison to other local hotels, we would always stay here."

"Schönes Hotel mit großen Zimmern und (leider recht teuren) Parkplätzen nah an der Altstadt von Stratford. Man kann von hier aus fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erkunden. Im großen Garten kann man entspannen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und es war ruhig. Das Frühstücksangebot war durchschnittlich, wir mussten immer wieder darauf hinweisen, dass das Buffet leer ist und es dauerte teilweise recht lange, bis nachgelegt wurde."

"Fantastic location. Quiet but within easy walking distance of town centre. No free parking but paid car park very close and plenty of space even at busy times (weekend/evenings only). Nice room with quirky decor. Comfortable bed. Delicious full English breakfast. Some cleanliness issues. Shower head full of limescale. Carpets in communal areas threadbare. Overall, though, we would stay again."

"No A/C. We requested a fan and they brought us one that was full of dust. Didn’t realize that until we turned it on and dust chunks flew out. Realized we could use the hair dryer to blow out all the dust so that helped but then dust chunks were all over the floor. Facilities are a little run down. Staff was duct taping down the carpet in the hall right outside our door. Check in at kiosk didn’t work. Staff present was not that helpful but eventually got us checked in."

"The hotel was ok, no more or no less than that. The pictures on the website were all of the newer bit of the hotel by the looks of it. Our room even said “old” on the invoice I signed. Bed ok, room had good furniture but too much of it so barely room to move. Window to a fire exit that kept banging in the wind. Shower screen might as well have been wire mesh as water leaked everywhere and flooded the bathroom which looked to have been happening for a while looking at the water staining / state...

"The girl behind the bar/receptionist was lovely and even gave us her own personal fan, but the room was at best 1 star, the toilet had human waste and toilet paper in it upon arrival, And what looked like human waste in the wall and floor, Photos attached, The shower was dirty, and the rooms window opened up onto a disco bar that was open to 2.30am, this review is based on the room only, The room was in an awful state and not worth the money all, I can’t give 0 stars so I had to settle with...

"Property is quirky and well located but outdoor space needs some TLC to make it more usable and some more friendly outdoor seating. I found it unusual to be asked to strip the bed and put into a plastic bag before departing. Everything needed was there and I would return."
