"When we get in I noticed that the coffee table was dirty. Also the bed cover had noticeable red-brown stains (I took pictures) and the sofa bed’s brown blanket was dirty. We had to complain with the office to get new bed covers. All they just did was send us new bedcovers to our room. We were told we would have to change the bed covers. Not good."

"The staff was very nice and check in was easy. The room had a jacuzzi (one of the reasons I booked here) but it did not work. It was being used as a regular bathtub with a shower. The room was big and was clean on the surface- but the cabinets in the kitchen and bath areas were worn and dirty. The bath cabinets looked like they had been water damaged and were pretty sad. "Good location for what we needed, staff although very nice, lacked the manpower needed to keep the hotel clean. We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and based on that experience decided to come back. This stay was definitely not the same, we will stay at a different hotel the next time we travel to the area."

Our room itself was outdated, did not have the ocean view I paid for and we found someone's underwear behind the chair. "Dave yourself the headache. Every day it was something. Maintenance was good though. Oven not working. Batteries died in key pad for door. Deadbolt broke and we were stuck in condo for 5 hours. Advertised outdoor pool was open . It was NOT and after days of arguing with management and Hostiva, they finally acknowledge it was closed. Phoned Hostiva almost every day and they said they would phone back. They never did. The last day took the cake; cockroach crawling on the wall. That was the icing...

"Excellent property the only issues we had was with the shower in the primary bathroom not draining properly and the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom not functioning properly. We didn’t stay long so it wasn’t a huge issue as the ac was adequate and the shower was the worse the last day of our stay."
