"Clean and pretty large room, and the price is expensive but very reasonable for summer season in St. Helena, where most places are in the $600-800 range, and this one almost half. Liked that it wasn’t “corporate”. The grounds are kept pretty nice. Also liked that it was pet friendly… easy a nice places to walk your pup around the hotel too. Peaceful spot overall and literally next to some of the world’s best restaurants and vineyards."

"The property was nice but somewhat dated. You can tell they are trying to fix it up. The grounds were nice. Very nice sitting areas and around back they had bocce, table tennis, and cornhole boards. It had a cozy cottage style feel. The staff was helpful when there were issues. Our tv didn't connect to the wifi well to put on our Netflix at night but we were fine just using their Xfinity. The mineral pool and hot spas were nice. A little older and chipped in some areas but were fine. ...

"For the price of the package, there was a notable dearth of amenities. The setting is gorgeous, and the rooms are very nice, but I feel very strongly that I could have achieved that same experience, with breakfast and other amenities included, for much less money"

"Some detail issues upon arrival. Patio doors were not closed proper and were open upon our arrival. Hot water was not on, and had to be reset. Maintenance took care of immediately when we notified them. This was a nice upgrade, but not worth the money. Furniture in living area, cute and looked great, but was some of the most uncomfortable furniture we have sat in. Front door would not lock, had to pull on the door at night to get it locked (or push extremely hard when leaving the property), just...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Property is beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and clean. Breakfast was delicious. We had a traditional Japanese breakfast the first morning, and an American breakfast the second. We loved the coffee and fresh juices too. Social hour with wine and small bites was also so nice. Soaking tub in the room was another nice touch. The manager, Craig, is also so nice and hospitable (and let us feed the koi fishes)."

"The host was really nice, kudos on him!! The pools are awesome, really enjoy the experience. The only suboptimal point was the AC was not so quiet. Also the hotel was not like 4-star but maybe 3-star to me."
