"It was a clean, convenient place to stay for a Tanglewood concert."

"The location was convenient to so much of what makes the Berkshires special. We were minutes from Tanglewood, under an hour to Bash Bish Falls & MASS MOCA amongst other places to visit. "We arrived at 10 pm and the room had a broken AC and no sheets for pullout. The temperature was 95 degrees and the windows were left open suggesting that this was not a new problem. I had to contact the front desk (offsite) to request assistance. No one showed up after waiting for 45 minutes. We had to leave and rebook elsewhere. I requested a refund for our our stay due to the extenuating unresolvable circumstances and the fact that the room was uninhabitable. I have not heard back from...

"I usually stay here and yes staff are nice and rooms are decent but I’ve seen a decline in amenities. Maybe the expense of things - bathrobe in room, water and snacks were what I was used to seeing .in the room."

"The hotel is easy to find. It is clean, neat, and tidy. We checked in early - great! My one concern is the 800 grit sandpaper for toilet paper. Motel 6 uses better toilet paper. Unfortunately, the bean counters won. They have a great price on toilet paper, and the property suffers as a result. Everyone and everything was great. The toilet paper was from the 1950's - honest. Sorry to have to report this. Hopefully, this will get someon's attention."

"Honestly, this place should close for renovations. It's a mess. • 1 working elevator for a 12-floor hotel. The elevator is used by staff (and their equipment) and guests. Elevator wait times were 10+ minutes. Watched a delivery guy? guest? employee? get on the elevator with a large e-bike. "Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. The grounds are so beautiful . There were a number of lovely places inside and out for sitting and relaxing. We loved the welcome drink and a bottle of wine ( choice of red or white) to have in our room. We enjoyed it on our balcony with its lovely views of the main house and the yard. Unfortunately we couldn’t attend the cognac tasting as we were busy. I would love to come to the Cornell again-and again!"

"Great location! walk downtown shops and restaurants . Could walk a mile to tanglewood if feeling brave. I did not but others staying at hotel did to avoid concert traffic. "The door handle and door mechanism in my room was covered in dust. The door to the bathroom had a hard time closing because it was warped. There was a large stain on the rug. There was a spider on the curtains. I left after one night of a two night stay."
