"The room is best described as a hotel pod!
Very tiny, best suited for solo travellers for sure! Not suitable for tall people lol as our room at least was only 6 feet wide and the bed was the full of it. The bathroom did not have a closing door so no privacy at all for someone using the bathroom. The glass sliding door does not fully close.
The room was clean. Staff were friendly.

"Clean rooms in an updated older hotel. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning, as it was unusually hot when we visited. There was a small fan provided, but it did little to cool the room. We felt unsafe leaving the window open because we were on the ground level and it would have been easy for anyone to climb right into our room.
The water pressure in the shower was fabulous. Staff was very friendly."

"Great location for park and ride into Bath.
We stayed in the main building-this was a mistake. It was noisy-the annex (where we have stayed before) is much better.
Our room had a great view of the race course but unfortunately was directly above the kitchen. Kitchen smells and noise drifted up and on one occasion very loud music from the kitchen.

Best nights sleep I’ve had in a while actually.
Bit of a pain paying for car park in morning rather than at check in as it took a while for internet to connect. Car park is a squeeze but again not a major issue.

"Richard is a wonderful and generous host full of gentle attentions. His Grosvenor Villa has a great history that you will start discovering as soon as you enter the magnificent lobby. A nice 20 minutes walk to reach downtown Bath, it’s a central point to discover Stonehenge, Bristol, Cardiff and the charming villages of the Cotswold.

"We arrived late after a stressful journey and the hotel couldn't have been a better antidote. The room service was excellent, the food genuinely good, and the bath alone was worth the trip. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. We didn't get to experience everything the hotel has to offer, but what we did was enough to make us want to come back and do it properly. A genuinely restorative stay."
