"I've never been in a place that had GRAFFITI on the furnitures inside of the hotel room I stayed in. Dirty towels, blood stain shower curtains to name some other horrendous things. If you can, just go beyond the border and get a nice hotel in Tijuana for a quarter of the price."

There was no refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot only one roll of toilet paper. when the door was shut, there was a space that you could put papers through and see through it not safe at all. The lock didn’t seem very safe either. When you sat or lay down on the bed, all you could hear was the springs underneath squeaking. There was no breakfast except for package, tiny blueberry muffins, and granola bars . Best of all they did not have any ice or ice...

"Perfect location for easily walking to the Ferry Landing, downtown, creating your own trail to exercise with great views in every direction. Both Esmeralda and Ophelia provided top notch, friendly and efficient customer service from check-in to housekeeping. Happy we were able to include our pet for a reasonable fee."

"This hotel is way overpriced for what it offers. The room didn't even have a coffee maker or complimentary bottled water, which you would expect at this price point. The bed squeaked and made noise every time I moved, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, the room wasn't clean when I arrived. For the amount they charge, I expected much higher standards of cleanliness, comfort, and basic amenities. I definitely would not stay here again and cannot recommend...

"Mold spores on the ceiling, not cleaned professionally to get rid of the mold. Water was coming up from the floor in the bathroom when you stepped on them, very squishy floors"

"Moonlight Beach Motel is exactly as it advertises. The room was clean; the beds were comfortable, and the location deserves a score of 15/10. It is 3 blocks from Moonlight Beach and a very short walk into Encinitas. The location was also safe and quiet. We had a room with a small kitchen, so we were able to make breakfast and have coffee in the room. They have a lovely patio area where we grilled hotdogs and played games. They provide boogie boards and beach chairs, if you want to use them....

Towels in bathroom were damp - probably a water leak in the floor or walls. Spider webs next to the dirty old chair and the window. There was mold in the corner of the floor at the base of the tub as well as on the ceiling. Something oily was on both nightstands (slid the lights over and they both made an oily smear). Light...
