"\the staff were universally helpful, especially at breakfast. the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was good. I did not find the restaurant for other meals suited my taste but that is an individual matter. There were not enough vegetables for my liking. My first room was hard for me to navigate but I was moved to a very satisfactory one.
The car park and the lift were selling points for me initially but I have become comfortable there, so will be back, barring accidents."

"The building is gorgeous, the room spacious and so comfortable, but the staff is the standout here. Cheerful, helpful, and so accommodating. They made the trip for us.
The breakfast is amazing - enough to carry you through lunch and beyond.
The hotel is a wee bit off the beaten track if you’re wishing to be on the Royal Mile every day, but the local bus service is excellent and you are in the midst of everything within 15-20 minutes.
Thank you for everything. It was a treat."

"Superb hotel in great location. Room with 2 beds was spacious and having the balcony was very nice. Only issues are that: 1) the bathroom is small and awkwardly designed compared to rest of the room which also resulted in the floor getting flooded anytime a shower was taken, and 2) gym needs additional weight machines to make it more complete and up to expected standards for such a nice and modern hotel."
