"This hotel gets a lot of bad reviews but for a budget hotel it was great for a 2 night stay with my daughter for a cheerleading competition.
The room and hotel decor is dated but this did not affect our stay.
The beds were comfortable and clean, towels were provided and tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room.
The WiFi worked well and the room also had a small TV which we used a little.
The bathroom was clean but there were a few cracked tiles and the tap was quite...

"Ik heb een geweldig verblijf gehad in dit hotel. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door het personeel, dat altijd behulpzaam en gastvrij was. De kamer was ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het bed sliep heerlijk en zorgde voor een goede nachtrust.
Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en vers, met veel keuze voor ieders smaak. Ook de ligging van het hotel was ideaal: dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en restaurants, maar toch heerlijk rustig.

"Hotel OK overall… you get what you get for the price.. I stayed there many times. They have some rooms on the ground floor that haven’t got windows nor a fan in the bathroom. There is a ventilation system which hasn’t been cleaned for ages… it’s safe to say I didn’t lose breath but it was extremely uncomfortable."

"The hotel needs urgent upgrades to the rooms. We upgraded to a sea view room with the manager being extremly helpful and quick. The room itself it is very outated and upgrading, however the view itself from the balcony was incredible. The cost of the pool/gym of £5 should be included in the price, especially as the facilities are also very outated. The check-in of 3 pm is very late - but this seems to be the same in all hotels in the area. Overall the experience was pleasant, but not worth...

"For a midweek night away or to be fair anytime away you can’t go wrong with Derby Manor. The rooms are excellent tidy and cleaned. The staff go over and above to ensure you have a wonderful stay. The breakfast caters for all dietary requirements so you will not go hungry.

"We literally can't wait to go back. The location is absolutely perfect, the pool is awesome and the staff really lovely.
The only thing that detracts is the 4pm check in which they seem to stick to, very rigidly. (Though our visit was during the heatwave of June so understandable if the rooms were taking longer to get ready).
The cottage we stayed in was gorgeous and the complimentary minibar a lovely touch."

"The staff were very helpful. The hotel was nice and so its amenities like the pool, sauna, and steam room. They were very well maintained. The view of the town from our room was amazing, I just wished the door to the balcony could be opened. The room was very well equipped with everything that one will need during their stay and it was a plus that they have in-room breakfast service option if you don’t want to come down."
