"We turned up and there was already a family in the property, we had no way of contacting someone and the family kindly gave us the owners number who contacted us the next day but the night we arrived we were left stranded after 4 hours of driving with no where to stay with 3 young children. I would not book again "

"Quirky old building with low ceilings and original features. Unfortunately looking a bit tired and our bed had a broken slat in the middle making it pretty uncomfortable. Breakfasts and check in was great just needs new furniture. Also very close to Trebarwith strand, just check for low tide!!"

"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...

"The Hideaway has the potential to be a 10/10 accommodation because the location is absolutely outstanding. It is perfectly situated for an easy walk into the village of Port Isaac, down to Port Gaverne, and also conveniently close to the Co-op. "We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided.
