"Quirky old building with low ceilings and original features. Unfortunately looking a bit tired and our bed had a broken slat in the middle making it pretty uncomfortable. Breakfasts and check in was great just needs new furniture. Also very close to Trebarwith strand, just check for low tide!!"

"I really enjoyed staying in this peaceful cottage, this is the second time I have stayed here. I slept very well in the comfy four poster bed and it's lovely not being troubled by light pollution. The coastal path is very close, and also a beautiful walk through the wooded valley to the waterfall. I had the option of using the log burner but found the cottage was cosy enough. "We stayed in room 210 and we were disappointed with the bathroom facilities which was a portacabin block stuck in the room and was TINY. It ruined out stay to be honest because we booked 3 nights for a wedding in the area and wanted a nice place to get ready for the wedding and a mini break. It was a struggle to sit on the toilet as the door is literally in your face. No working extractor fan. This room is in serious need of attention because this isnt acceptable for over £120 a night. "We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. "

"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. "We stayed 2 nights in sn upper floor twin room. The in room TV was tiny, but everything else about the stay was good. Internet was fast, breakfasts were very good, and we also enjoyed dining there in the evenings, with views of the last gokfers of the day on the 9th and 18th holes just outside the windows. Parking was easy, and the staff were great."

"The owner was just fantastic, so attentive to our needs and the secret way to locate the property, (if you know, you know, it is a genius), the first people and or persons we were introduced to were three stunning horses. (Two of our favourite royals after Kate of course, & My Wife' nickname), we loved the alpacas, the rabbits, the dogs and it was just so picturesque and beautiful.
