"It's not a bad place.
But filthy carpets were the main disappointment & filthy smoke butts outside the main door up stairs.
Was there for 3 days, not once did I see anybody do any cleaning or replenish towels or tea & coffee.
That's why it wasn't value for money.
The owner should put more effort into the place, instead of just taking the money."

"We had requested a ground floor room away from busy areas in the hopes of not being woken up too early. Sadly, this hotel has very thin walls and slamming doors so no such luck.
The bathroom was dirty and in desperate need of refurbishment. The seals around the bath were black in places and the sink was partially blocked so took a very long time to drain. I don't know what had been left in the plug hole but it looked disgusting.
The bed was two singles pushed together, which is never a good...

"We were very pleased with the hotel, clean, modern with spacious bedroom a very comfortable bed and great shower. The staff were very polite especially the gentleman who served us in the bar area. We also found it to be a great location for restaurants and bars plus ( go to the top of the street and turn right ) it was only a short walk to the shopping centre and the harbour too.
The slight negatives were
There wasn’t a hairdryer in the bedroom which was mentioned at reception, the receptionist...

"The staff was nice. The bed was super comfy. My room had no electricity when I checked in at 12:30am and no one offered to help me with my big bags as a single traveler. They dod come move my luggage to a new room. I appreciate the noon check out! Pretty good value."

"The room we had was spacious, clean well maintained everything you need for a relaxing stay . The room had iron and ironboard, fridge, glasses for drinks. Toiletries very good, shower easy to work . The Air-conditioning was brilliant. Breakfast was very good ,plenty of choice, but one day reduced staff on so service was poor and had to keep reminding staff what we wanted. But that was just once."

"The best thing about this hotel is it's location. It is within walking distance of the Roman Baths and most touristy things. The front desk staff are not friendly nor helpful. The hotel does have an elevator which is great, they have AC in the rooms and there is a safe and refrigerator in the room. You have to park your car in an off site parking lot which can get expensive. Breakfast is included and it is very basic."
