"Very nice place, the only downside is there were no blackout curtains. So in June, we were woken up very early by the light. Also from the children going to the school right next door. Other than that bed was comfy, very clean and had a very nice welcoming."

"I had a really lovely stay here last night. Michael welcomed me warmly and showed me up to a lovely, bright, comfortable room. The bed was really comfy and it was so quiet, I slept really well. Everything was super clean. As a single person travelling for work I usually don't choose to stay in someone’s home but the reviews swayed me and I’m glad they did. I definitely hope to come back. I booked the single room which had a large single bed. The room was comfortable, clean and really well equipped for short stays. Lots of towels which was definitely a plus. Only a few negatives were that my mum would have liked a non slip mat for the shower as she felt it could get a little slippy. It...

"This was truly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I could live with the fact the room was on the 4th floor, up loads of stairs and had no air conditioning so felt like being slow cooked the whole time I was in there. However, there was no toilett or shower, and the shared amenities were dirty and disgusting. HOWEVER, the worst and most dangerous part of my stay was being woken up at 5am by a man trying to access my hotel room. As a female I’ve never felt so unsafe staying anywhere before. I...

"Good location from downtown London. The room was clean and comfortable and the service was great. Biggest issues is that there was no air conditioning or ceiling fans, and the third floor was unbearable hot. A small fan was provided was not helpful. The room also faced the main street which was very noisy, so keeping the window open was not ideal. Would only recommend staying here during the colder months."
