"I had a really lovely stay here last night. Michael welcomed me warmly and showed me up to a lovely, bright, comfortable room. The bed was really comfy and it was so quiet, I slept really well. Everything was super clean. As a single person travelling for work I usually don't choose to stay in someone’s home but the reviews swayed me and I’m glad they did. I definitely hope to come back. I could live with the fact the room was on the 4th floor, up loads of stairs and had no air conditioning so felt like being slow cooked the whole time I was in there. "Clean modern room with a small fan and soap / shower gel supplied. Unfortunately no tea and coffee facilities in the room although there was a lounge downstairs with an honesty box. I just needed a cup so I’m not sure if the tea or coffee was charged for. It was supposed to be unmanned but the staff were there and helped me check in and a missing remote. "everything was great except for housekeeping which for some reason did not want to service my room (and it was not messy) but I was there for a week and despite calls, never changed the sheets?! and never left facecloths and didn't refill the toileteries, the little pot with cotton buds etc was open and used from the last guest. Truly bizarre, i did talk to the manager when I left and they said they would reach out but not heard anything yet."
