"In general this hotel is first class. Very quiet considering the location, lovely staff and close to the museums. The only problem we had was with room service meal. My wife's was good, mine looked slapped together, and had luke warm tooth breaking chips. Just about edible and I was too hungry to send it back though."

"We had an issue on the morning of checkout where the lights in the room did not work, so we had to use the torches on our phones to see. I tried to phone reception from the room phone but that did not work. When we mentioned it when checking out 30m later we were told that we should have reported it earlier! Also had intermittent issues with there being no cold water form the mixer tap which only ran hot water."

From reception to housekeeping , the restaurants and piano bar(try the cocktails) everyone pulls together 'on brand'. A must try."
