"We checked in and the bags taken to the room. It was a hot day and when we got to the room it was very warm. We turned the aircon on to discover it wasn’t working. We reported it immediately and were offered complimentary drink in the bar while an engineer investigated. Unfortunately it wasn’t fixable, and the hotel was fully booked so they were unable to move us to another room. As compensation they offered a 50%, and provided a fan. "Our air conditioner did not work, our room was very hot. The maintenance came to fix it at least 4 times, they ended up giving us a very loud Dyson floor standing unit to help cool the room, the day before we left it started to get better. No one seamed to care."
