Although it is advertised on numerous websites that the rooms are air conditioned the airconditioning had broken so there was nothing on the hottest day of the year. There was air conditioning in the reception that was working and units installed the rooms with control panels but were not working. Their explanation was that the pump or condenser was not working. "We had a lovely room which had a roll top bath in a very big bathroom Staff were friendly and the pub was relaxing. Breakfast was good to set you up for the day It was in a remote area so in the evening there wasn’t anywhere to walk to and other pubs were of driving distance not walkable.."

"Everything was lovely, especially the staff! In the middle of a heatwave, AC would have been nice but that’s Mother Natures fault. Food was excellent, parking was easy and the surroundings were beautiful! I definitely recommend for a taste of old world charm."

"Good size room .baking hot no air con.the little Dyson fan good for nothing.a strong metal fan would do the trick..one night had somebody kicking and banging at the door desperate to get in scary to say the least.very easy for people just to wander around the hotel floors inebriated!! Breakfast a bit chaotic and bland.sounds a bit negative but generally good value for money oh no double glazing so road noise kept me awake.aroom away from road and no heatwave and will stay again"
