"The resort was nice but but like most places on the island things could have been better. Otis at the front desk was fantastic. The coffee shop gave great friendly service. The food at Karacter was good but not nothing to brag about. You must bring bug spray to dine at night both upstairs and down by the water. "We booked a long-term stay for December 2025 through January 2026 for our wedding, honeymoon, and winter break. On December 30, 2025, housekeeping entered our cottage and left the door open. Our dog escaped during this time. We were not notified for approximately two hours. The property owner did not contact us directly or provide an incident report. Our dog, Pax, has been missing since that date. As of writing this review, it has been 34 days. The property also had multiple maintenance issues...

"We had a last minute change of plans and decided to stay in Westpunt over Willemstad for the last few nights of our vacation. We were pleased to find a this place available and the accommodations were wonderful and the price was right. Being able to use the adjoining beach club and their amenities added to our experience. The staff were friendly. Walking to snorkeling every morning was a true bonus! Would recommend staying at the Bed and Bike Westpunt."
