"I stayed at Hotel Mac Rae between Christmas and New Years, the weather was not the best because of some storms, but the stay was great. I stayed in one of the rooms with the view of the beach and boardwalk. The room was nice (it’s an older hotel but it was nice to have a built-in closet with nice size drawers. "Me and my parents stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The views were stunning. Looking down from the hilltop, you can see the Avalon town and the coastline stretching out. Inside, the suite beautifully captures Pueblo-style architecture, and you can really feel the history of the place, knowing it was once home to Zane Grey.
