"We stayed at Hotel Canal Grande for 4 nights. The front desk staff was kind and accommodating. We arrived at 1 am in the morning and wanted to have a cocktail after a long day of travel. Even though the bar closed at 11 pm, the front desk clerk was kind enough to open the bar for us for as long as we wanted. "Everything about this place was exceptionally wonderful. Location, room, bathroom, service, breakfast, air conditioning, access to transportation, etc etc etc. Truly struggling to find something to improve on. Fantastic. "

"We especially like the customer service of the front desk, Marta. They offered us coffee and tea when we arrived as we waited for our rooms to be ready and they checked us in as soon as the rooms were ready. This was appreciated as we were exhausted after our long journey to get there. We loved the quietness the property provided and the lovely courtyard. We were disappointed that the bar was closed but sat just outside the hotel at the restaurant for a glass of wine."

"Great location! It was away from the chaos of Venice but we loved it! We walked everywhere and really got a good feel for the city. Georgio in the bar was an amazing person! Gave us so many good tips and taught us all about the different Campari drinks! Also, Clement the night front desk host was a pleasure to speak with! He taught us so much about the Venetian history and Italy in general. Very pleasant stay"

"The hotel is in a great location on a side street and very quiet. The room was modern and clean. The bathroom was a nice size. There is no fridge or safe in the room. And no shelves or hooks in the bathroom for storage. The staff were wonderful and very responsive to email. They also have a spot to lock luggage if you arrive early, or have some time before leaving Venice. You can avoid carrying your luggage up and down bridges by taking the vaparetto from the train station to S Marcuolo stop, no...
