"While the assigned room was without AC, only one fan was provided. We requested an additional fan and was promised one. We never got it until the last night. Unfortunately the additional fan did not work. The windows couldn’t open so the air quality was horrible. Additionally, housekeeping was not available for our three day stay. Based on the above experience, we cannot recommend this property."

"Fabulous stay at stay @FL, wish we’d had more time at the actual venue as the surroundings are fantastic!! Very peaceful and Paul was great! We had a lovely breakfast of poached egg (resident chickens) and salmon/ham! Would defo recommend, also take walking shoes (trainers) and go for a walk!! "

She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. "We were delayed due to train issues but were still welcomed by their staff though we arrived late in the evening. Their rooms are very comfortable and welcoming. What's unique about the Oakhurst Gatwick was their invitation the night before to complete a menu which allowed their chef the next morning to customize your hot meal breakfast, according to your tastes. As a smaller hotel, the atmosphere at breakfast was peaceful, personalized and refreshing. "
