"Clean, quiet, comfortable room with a very comfy bed, plenty of facilities e.g. tea/ coffee, toiletries, bottled water etc. Staff are excellent especially Adam and Lorna. Food - breakfast and evening meal were also excellent, we cannot fault the Eaton Oak and will be returning soon. A big well done and thank you to all of the staff!"

"I came in June 2025 and came back in August 2025 and was just as pleased as the first stay. Perfect location, very clean rooms,,the staff is perfect informative and always helpful. My room was perfect with a perfect view. My first stay in June was for 6 nights and this stay in August was for 6 nights. You step out of the hotel directly to your safe boardwalk and it is located next to the town for all you needs and comfort "

"The room was lovely, very clean, good amenities. Staff were great. Sadly, the main restaurant wasn't open when I was there, but the bar was nice. A little annoying to have to pay extra for parking without warning, would have been nicer to be able to include that in the payment upon booking. "A clean and tidy room in this historic pub. Jez and his team are friendly, accommodating, and always happy to help. We stayed for a family wedding held at the local church. We had a wonderful day and then great food, drink, and a comfortable stay at The Black Bull. Highly recommend. "

"We had a very comfortable night's stay. The temperature of the room was perfect all night and the room and bathroom were very clean. The continental buffet breakfast was very good and the staff were very pleasant and attentive to my needs. We would willingly stay here again."

"I am sorry to say that our stay was unexpectedly very bad. Even as we checked in the property was cold. There was NO HEATING and no HOT WATER. After many tephone calls we were told that the we boiler was not functioing. We were given grossly inadequate heaters which did little to correct the situation. It completely wrecked the evening which was the celebration of my wife's 70th Birthday. Our first night was a nightmare with no ability for us and our guests to have shower for two full days even...
