"Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages."

"The property sits in the Alfama district of Lisbon. The oldest and most historic district of the city. It is quaint with stunningly beautiful views of the city. We were told by a staff member the hotel was the first convent founded in the city, hence, the name Convento do Salvador. This hotel is in a very narrow and steep cobblestone street. Some taxis and Uber drivers do not go down to the hotel to pick up passengers and it is necessary to go up to one of the main thoroughfares to get the Uber....

"The convenient location right inside the rail station makes it easy to drop off luggage before heading out to sightsee. The rooms had all the amenities needed and very comfortable beds. "The rooms were on the small side but clean, modern, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast had many options and the bar was nice after a long day exploring the city. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel de Baixa is centrally located and close everything you need or want to see while visiting Lisbon."

"Fantastic location for a short or long stay! The room was soooo spacious which was welcomed after visiting other EU cities where the rooms were small. I really enjoyed the easy check in as I fly in at 11PM and got to the hotel around 12:30AM. It was seamless and the room was very clean.
