"The only negative is a $45 fee they call a resort fee that “covers” the bottle of water in your room and a travel bottle they give you. Stuff no ie asked for."

"Hotel Sherman was the perfect oasis for our quick stay in the city. Its entrance is tucked between two buildings, and I almost missed it at first. Upon entering, I felt like I was transported to a quaint Parisian hotel- it was simply lovely! The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. When we arrived I learned we were upgraded from a double queen room to a two bedroom penthouse suite with private terrace. It was amazing! The rooftop terrace is also beautiful, and a great place...

"Loved our stay! Clean, spacious room and great location - close to Central Park, 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, with a subway station almost right next door. Very comfortable bed, room was cleaned every day, and staff were helpful (although some of them were not very friendly). Our room was at the back of the property so not so great views but we didn’t really mind it as it means it was quiet. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in NYC!"

"First time here, been to many other places around NYC. The location was perfect for our trip ( met opera) The room was clean and comfortable. We were put in an interior room ( no view) and it was wonderful! No view meant we were able to sleep without all the noise, sirens, yelling garbage truck banging… we almost missed the noise ( not ). Lots of stuff to do/see/eat right around the area."

"The property was cool. I would've gave 5 stars but I gave a 4 because I seem a stain on the pillow sheets.. Clean sheets and pillows and towels and shower curtains should be a priority always.. no cleaning team should should over look stains. Change it out immediately before next guest arrives"

"Great location, in the theater district and a stones throw from time square. Walkable to many restaurants, central park and other mid town attractions. Nice updated rooms, large bathroom, and friendly staff. Wish there was a little more offered at the continental breakfast, but that is just nitpicking."
