"I assumed I would be staying in a hotel reflective of the pictures shared, however our actual accommodation was in some of the side rooms, in a building that was definitely worse-for-wear. Most of the services that we had expected to be part of the amenities came with an extra charge - from using the gym and pool, to changing rooms because our fan was broken in the middle of a heatwave (they ended up giving us another fan for free). "Very comfortable bed, a continental breakfast if you wanted it, plenty of eating options in walking distance and they provided plates and cutlery if you wanted to bring a takeaway back. Lots of parking. My only niggle was the bedroom carpet really need a good clean otherwise it was perfectly fine."

"We did not realize when booking this room that there wasn’t a lift, which is hard when you were older hauling luggage at the stairs. The room was generally clean, but the furniture was a little beat up. We did hear noise from the pub below, but that might be expected since it was the World Cup. The team was extremely nice and we would stay there again."
